According to the export reports of the United States, the amount of imports from the United States has increased from 30 million pounds to 90.6 million pounds.

Of course, it goes without saying that in 2019, about 45 million pounds of pistachios were exported to Vietnam, which compared to 65 million pounds in 2018, we see a decrease of 20 million pounds.

This is the third year that imports have decreased significantly.

India; More imports from America, less from Iran

India's pistachio imports have changed dramatically over the past few years.

The import of American pistachios to India in 2019 has reached 16.6 million pounds (1,500 tons per week).

While the year before that, it was only 6.9 million pounds (three thousand and 118 tons).

Meanwhile, the situation of Iran's pistachio export to India has not been very favorable.

Because India's import from Iran has decreased from 4,871 tons in 2018 to 1,510 tons in 2019.
